These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Evens platform operated by Evens ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Evens, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Evens is a prediction market aggregator that displays publicly available odds, prices, and market data from third-party platforms. Evens does not operate a prediction market, exchange, or trading platform. We do not accept deposits, hold funds, or execute trades.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Evens. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without authorization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute Evens data without a commercial license
- Use automated tools to access the platform beyond documented API limits
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
6. API Access
API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as described in our API documentation. We reserve the right to modify API terms, rate limits, or access tiers with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property
The Evens platform, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by Evens and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Market data displayed on the platform is sourced from third-party providers and remains subject to their respective terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Evens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data displayed on the platform. Prediction market data is inherently volatile and should not be relied upon as financial advice.
9. Not Financial Advice
Nothing on Evens constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. Market data is displayed for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any trading decisions made on third-party platforms. Past performance of prediction markets does not indicate future results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to trading losses based on data displayed on Evens.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evens and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
